Aluminum handguard with 20 M-LOK slots everywhere you could want them, and not at some crazy 2 & 10 o'clock angles. This is very nicely manufactured although the developer was not happy with the cerakoting on it and was selling all of them as "blems." I didn't see any issues so I don't know what he had in mind. At this time there are a few shiny spots here and there from installation and attachments while it was on my rifle, but that's all me.
It's a great product, and I only swapped it out as I subsequently bought a close-out of the Manticore Arms version which is somewhat less practical but fit my aesthetic desire better (although I still took a dremel to that for reasons my own). IDK if VHS-2 Project plans to make more or variations on this one at some point -- he seems more keyed in to the polymer side of the market -- but he's a solid dude in my limited interactions and this is a great product.
Caveat (and one I emailed him about and he kind of agreed): it's quite girthy (has to do with being based off of his polymer versions intended to fit around suppressors).
You might need to sand a bit of material off of the polymer spacer to get this to fit on your gun; I had to take off a very tiny amount of material myself, but took off the minimum possible to get it on tightly enough it took a punch to install and take it back off (this is something he added to his description as a possibility after I mentioned it to him).
$120 shipped, paypal or zelle or a postal money order if you're old-school like that.
