After spending some time hunting down what I'd need, I pulled the trigger on getting as a aesthetically close to an AK-15 as I could. Then I discovered the AK-203. I scored a KR-103SFS (sans any mags) and got to work.

-TWS Dog Leg Rail Gen 3 w/rear peep sight
-TDI Arms LH47-S handguard
-Krebs Customs Enhanced Safety
-Ronin's Grips AK-12 Grip v2.0
-Novus Precision PDS-1
-TangoDown Pic Vertical Grip (temporary but perfect flush placement for rock n lock loading)
-Arsenal AR-M1 4-Port Flash Hider
-AC Unity AK-15 mags
-AC Unity AK-103 mags
-Steel AKM mag from my brother's Romanian build
I wish I could've kept the original rear leaf sight but as far as I know there's no other hinged rail dust cover that could match any closer to the 203. Also wish there was surplus handguards but what are any of us to do when pursuing niche builds like this? I'm in love with this and look forward to running 3-gun and just plain hitting the range!
