AK Picture Thread

Was at my folks and got to throw in everything on. This is my full comblockmarket ak, all parts and rifle from the community. Minus the can and cheapo bipod.

Decided to stamp my M92 and do the UF conversion with a $40 Facebook Marketplace drill press, a rotabroach kit and a winner's attitude. Screwed up the stock angle a little bit (hence all the fitting), but she runs like a dream! Parts list:
  • Ronin quick detach dust cover pin/ring
  • Khyber Customs dual aperture rear sight (peak upgrade)
  • JMAC 360 HUB muzzle device & HUB converted Wolverine
  • KNS piston
  • PSA polished NiBo FCG (hammer shaved & polished to fit)
  • US Sharkfin handguard
  • Yugo underfolder stock set courtesy of AKOptions
Last step is to blue all the salt I created, stain the handguard and sew that M92 sling clip into the yugo surplus sling I've picked up.

I was scrolling through my phone and found this pic that was sent to me when I was buying 40 round bakes directly from Russia (years ago)...sure wish I still had em.

Cool pics. I wish I could find a couch similar to that one, I cant find anything online.

I still have eight with Russian pouches. Had 12 but sold 4 years ago. That's a lot of money nowadays.

First yugo kit I ever picked up was this m76, bought it on gunbroker from a guy in California. Kit was all matching including the scope mount and bayonet scabbard which surprised me. I assume the scope is original to the rifle and the bayonet itself is unnumbered. Rebuilt in 2019 by two rivers on a tortort receiver and green mountain barrel.

I just joined today, and wanted to share a couple of pics of my 1955 Tula SKS, and my 2006 SLR-106F.

The SLR-106F is a NY state compliant gun, as you will notice it has a folding stock, but no front catch or rear release button,
and no threads on the FSB. I'll be having that remedied soon.

The Tula SKS was a gift from my oldest brother, and I'm proud to have it in my small collection. 🍻
