Price Check Price Check on a Polytech SKS Hunter #27

I found one that sold on guns.com for about $925 in similar if not better condition that also included the sling. I see very similar Polytechs from Simpson Ltd, some with box and more accessories, between $650 and $800, albeit not the hunter model. You could probably sell this one quickly between $675-$800 or try to find the right collector to sell to for around $900. It's kind of a niche gun and I don't know how much of a market there is for it, and SKS values are extremely inflated. I got a Norinco about a year ago for $350, and I thought that was kind of high. Take all this with a grain of salt, I'm not an SKS expert, this is just how I'd price it if I was looking to sell

I also want to note that the guy selling his on GB may not have a great understanding between what he thinks something is worth and what it'll sell for. I had a guy local to me selling a used SIG 556 for $1800, when I made him a more reasonable offer he said he saw them up for sale all the time for $2k+. I told him there was a big difference between asking price and selling price, and I saw them frequently selling for $1000-$1200. Months later his was still for sale with all the others. These are just things to keep in mind, see how long his is up for sale for, and if it actually sells

I picked it up for 600 3 years ago, I found it and didn't have an SKS so I thought why not and it was a somewhat rare gun, but I really don't shoot it much and it doesn't have much historical value, whereas my collection consists primarily of WW2 firearms and guns I actually use for hunting or drilling.
