Gun Talk Norinco 5.56 bolt

I'm in a similar situation. I bought a 84s-1 from at gunshow once I got home I found out Bolt carrier / bolt did did not match the rest of the rifle. I know for a fact the bolt / carrier are not Chinese not sure what Ak it came from but i do know that my 84s does not cycle reliably due to this.

Maybe Rico$lavi would have something, but I don't know. If I were you, I'd measure the inside diameter of the bolt carrier (where the bolt stem would go) and compare that to all of the other variants to see what else (if anything) is compatible with your carrier. Worst case, if you can't find anything that'll fit, then get a different carrier that you can get a bolt for.

And this should go without saying, but AKs are not like ARs, you can't just swap bolts without affecting headspace.

Closest seems to be the galil bolt, not even an ak 5.56 bolt

There isn't any retail source for Norinco 5.56 bolts or firing pins.

So...gunbroker hunting you go!

That’s literally the worst thing in the world to do. I paid $1500 for the gun without the bolt. I probably would have paid 2500 on makeyoubroker.com

I mean go hunting for a bolt, since comblocmarket sellers aren't coming out of the weeds to sell one.
