After years of carrying a Glock of some sort, I slowly started falling out of the striker fired platforms for hammer fired double action single action guns. I’m definitely the type of person who buys/sells/trades often and I’ve had a lot of different handguns, over a dozen Glocks and slowly started to realize they just weren’t doing it for me anymore (mostly after I got my first fullsized USP which I eventually sold in lieu of the USPC)
This is the state of the pistol collection as of the start of 2025.
- Beretta 84F (a gift to my girlfriend for Christmas)
- Beretta 84bb (such a fun little shooter, which will more than likely turn into a threaded .32acp version for a suppressor host)
- H&K USPC V3, few small changes (V3 controls, MH3 night sights, HK45c Mag release, spurred hammer & 15 round P30 magazine conversions) my main carry gun
- we’ll patina’d 1989 Bulgarian ((10)) Makarov, my other carry gun
- incredibly nice finish 1989 Bulgarian ((10)) Makarov, (soon to be suppressor host once I install my threaded barrel)
- Russian IJ70-18AH double stack Makarov (Bulgarian surplus slide, surplus plum control, refinished lower removing the parkerization and reblue, and the beautiful elusive double stack Textolite grips)
Looking to add a fullsized HK USP .45 as well as a couple others this year.
