Here for your consideration is a 100% OG matching 1968 Tula kit, unfired, unissued, ect. This particular example has the uncommon and very seldomly seen transitional style wrench flat slant break, which would have typically been used at the factory around 1966 to early 1967 at Tula, so possibly it was a leftover part that just happened to get used on this rifle.
