    I lived through those times of the thumbhole stocks. Just seeing them now makes me laugh at how ridiculous ground off threads and bayonet lugs, and dumb stocks are. I sold my MAK90 10 years ago because the neutered parts drove me crazy.

    Great pic and plum 74! Is it surplus furniture? I want a set of plum for my laminate 74. I missed the chance for decent priced plum by 15 years. I will just get PSA or Arsenal set for dress up.

    My MD63 1963 mostly matching kit purchased in 90s. Picked up from NGS this week. Built on a Childers matching SN receiver. Receiver worn in to match the kit. My favorite AK! Update: Located a hardwood handguard. A few pics with a NK wanna be bakelite mag at the range.
