Hey everyone! I wanted to gain some insight and seen if anyone else has had this issue regarding their trigger group, I've owned this gun for almost 5 years and never had an issue until today. Hammer follow has become increasingly more frequent with the stock trigger, when I quickly release the trigger when firing the hammer does not properly catch on the disconnector and causes the hammer to strike the next round and fail to cycle.
This has been an issue for sometime now but today it pretty much did it every magazine I ran through her, only way I could train properly is holding the trigger down after every shot. I disassembled the rifle and noticed a lot of wear on the hammer and disconnector but no concerning wear on any other parts of the rifle.
I did some dry fire testing with some dummy rounds and couldn't recreate the issue so im thinking that the trigger group is just worn out and due to constant abuse and an over gassing issue that I never really cared about fixing.
Current plan is to pick up a new trigger group for it but I'd like to know if any of you guys have encountered this issue with higher round count yugos, im not sure the exact amount of freedom seeds this rifle has dispensed over the course of my ownership but round count is anywhere between 10k to 12k most of it being steel cased 55gr .223, PMC XTAC M193, PMC XTAC M855, or Winchester white box.
