Selling off some unused things, including this project I thought I'd get around to but never did.
This is an Albanian SKS that is in pieces, minus receiver. I bought this parts lot years ago with the intent of resurrecting it on a Chinese SKS receiver, but it has just sat in my safe. I've got too many other projects and money dedicated to other things, so I'd like to see it go to a good home and be brought back to life.
Most of the numbered parts are matching (carrier, bolt, trigger group, rear receiver cover) but the magazine is not.
The rifling in the barrel is good, but the rear sight block appears to have been pressed off by some crude means and the rear of the rear sight block looks to have been dropped or beat on. Seems repairable, which was my plan. Threads on the barrel look to be in good shape.
The stock and handguard have no cracking.
