Hey folks, this may be a long shot but I'm looking to buy or rent/borrow some AK building tools. I had mine stolen winter of last year out of my trucks toolbox. Idiot took my bag with AK building shit and a sight adjustment tool but they left my $200 Makita finger sander and expensive caliper set and punches so, silver linings I guess. I'm not picky about Toth or AK Builder or whatever, I just have two kits I've been sitting on I'm itching to build and not having the tools now bums me out since the sun is finally out here again and It's workshop season. Insurance wouldn't cover shit because It wasn't parked at my place when they cut the lock so I'm SoL on that front.
Looking for a barrel press/populating kit, the trigger guard rivet jig and either rivet jaws OR the full receiver rivet jig from AK builder. Also RIP to my Molot ribbed 45rnder in that bag. Gone, but never forgetti.
I'm cool with straight up buying them, paying you a deposit, doing a trade, or just paying to rent them, whatever floats your boat. Enjoy these pics of me de-milling with a chunk of 4x4 and a cheap ass clamp in the meantime.
