For those not familiar with the electric etching process, don’t worry, it’s very simple. This is a tried-and-true process and numerous users of Thor's Hammer stencils experienced very positive results. Users of these stencils range from professional builders to the occasional DIY builder.
One feature no one else offers is the stencil material has some transparency (not solid in color). This allows the user to properly place the stencil to the item being etched - this helps eliminate guessing if it’s placed correctly or straight.
No special tools, equipment or skills needed. All the hard work has already been done! Simply use a 9 volt battery (or similar power source), a battery connector with alligator clips, salt water and cotton balls. Some say electric etching results are much better than engraving or laser. As well, this process is a lot easier on the wallet compared to those other options. The stencils are a one-time use and allows the individual or professional builder to economically add markings to their projects. (Note: if etching other materials such as brass, different electrolyte is required as salt water is not suitable).
You can etch thru blued or parkerized surfaces. Painted surfaces will need the paint removed in the area to be etched. Easily can achieve the minimum depth for some marking requirements.
Use these stencils to mark other personal items such as pocket/hunting knives, bayonets, tools, etc.
Included with each purchase are instructions and an extra stencil in which you can practice on a piece of scrap steel to become familiar with the process.

It is prohibited to copy, scan, replicate Thor’s Hammer stencils into any digital format or likeness and import into any software for etching, engraving, cutting or any other similar means for personal or commercial use and/or profit.
