Just wanted to say thanks and to recognize how awesome this forum is. Last week I decided I wanted an SVT40. I posted a gun and a handful of pieces of gear on this site. One buyer bought 3 guns from me, and within the next 3 days my other lots were sold. SVT40 was funded and purchased within 4 days of my initial post. The gun: 1941 Tula SVT40, Finnish capture, original wartime blueing, original wood finish. Action is buttery smooth. Shot 100 rounds no hiccups today. 148g wolf is my ammo of choice. (HMU if you’ve got some to sell).
Impression: Long rifle, very thin, little felt recoil (surprising), very loud.
