Gun Talk Rubber Duck Vietnam Era M16A1

Details

Ok so today we have something a little different. I stumbled on this in a Gunbroker auction and loved the history and unique nature of it and snapped it up at a great price. This is an issued Rubber Duck Resin Coated M16A1 Army Armorer modified to an AR-15 Carbine length training rifle with Colt Components. The upper including barrel, front sight base, and handguards are all Colt as well as the lower. The sling is actual USGI issue. This training rifle is actually heavier than a regular AR or M16. Research indicated this was Vietnam era. A pretty cool piece of USGI history.
