I handpicked this Korean War H&R M1Garand back in 2012 from the CMP North Store. The barrel and receiver are 1955 H&R but CMP replaced some of the other pieces with SA parts. Excellent shooter and the action locks up really tight in the military stock. I've only had it out to the range a few times so the muzzle and throat readings are the same as what CMP gauged them - 1, and 2, respectively. I will also include a 1955 MRT marked Korean War era USGI sling.
If you are into M1 Garands, you probably already know that the Service Grade rifles back in 2012 are much nice than the Service Grades of recent years. Now that CMP no longer has these and are scraping the bottom of the barrel selling re-claimed drill rifles, these nice wartime examples are only heading up in value.
Comes with the CMP certificate, hangtag, and receipts.
$1300 cash, face to face near NW or Central Ohio.
