Best chest rig setup for AKs that you could ask for in Ranger Green
Selling a chest rig that I only used once, with a triple mag insert that never got any use at all.

When run with a harness, the Micro maintains a low profile and can be worn fully loaded under a normal/loose-fit jacket or sweatshirt without overtly printing. When run as a placard on an armor platform with a quick-release system, the chest rig can be attached or stowed in seconds, giving the end user the versatility to transition from low vis to high vis or vice versa.
The VELCRO® Brand loop-lined placard insert pouch integrates directly with the suite of D3CR Inserts, providing operators with custom configurations for the carriage of a wide assortment of magazines, radios, and other mission-essential equipment.
The Micro features two side-mounted utility pouches constructed with elastic for streamlined carriage of pistol magazines, flashlights, utility tools, or 37mm/40mm grenades. The front zippered general-purpose pouch includes internal elastic retention and a full field of VELCRO® Brand loop for organization and visual identification of stored equipment.
The back panel of the Micro includes a full field of VELCRO® Brand hook for secure attachment to plate carriers when run as a placard.
The X-Harness provides load-bearing comfort across a wide variety of body shapes and sizes. The slip loop shoulder strap system enables users to quickly don/doff. Haley Strategic Harnesses include a waist strap (“belly band” or “back strap”) as well as 1 Column with 3 Rows of MOLLE webbing on both straps for cable management of radios, PTTs, hydration tubes, compasses, EUD bridges, GPS, and other similar-sized items.

- Can you use steel mags with this insert? Yes
- Will AR-15 mags work with this insert? This insert is specifically designed for AK mags, but if you really want to use AR mags with it, you can. Retention will not be as tight as an insert specifically designed for AR-15 mags, but it may be sufficient for your use. In other words, if you like to hang upside down when shooting, then we don't recommend using this insert for AR-15 mags.
- What kind of retention does it have? It's a friction-fit retention, similar to any other elastic-based pouch/insert that doesn't have active retention (paracord loop or a flap on top).
