Gun Talk Everyday Carry

We recently upgraded my wife's carry from her late father's Karr CW-9 to the same 43x. I agree entirely with your assesment. The trigger is outstanding compared to the 43, even though she's still getting used to it. She's used to having a little less travel and a more defined wall, but she understands that it's ideal for a carry gun. She loves the Gen 5 front slide serrations. Weight has always been a concern for her, depending on what she wears. She has a mag of Federal JHPs for most occasions and a mag of NDV X rounds when she's looking to drop another lb. Those NDV rounds get her loaded weight down to 1lb 5oz compared to 2lb 8oz with my Glock 20. Anything to get her to feel comfortable carrying her gun more often. She leaves for work earlier than I do, so when I look and see her carry is missing from our spot, it means that she took it with her, which makes me happy.
My current carry, Glock 43X and an Ultratech t/e. I often carry a para 3 as well. I carry 124 grain gold dots

I have that same Microtech in blue. Outstanding knife. I can't post photos on reply, but the body is identical. Blade may be different.

I love it too, it’s been great. I did order one of the new models with their new spring system, a hera 2 mini…it failed multiple times out of the box. When you fired it there was no thud when it fired open and you could open it with ur pinky, way too light. I sent it back. I’ll stick with the old single spring system.
My extreme warm weather summertime carry. Kimber .38 with Core-Bons, Desantis pocket holster for use in shorts and a vey sharp Swiss knife. Hydra shocks in speed strip for the reload.

I like to carry my S&W Governor aka my "small, big ass revolver" (as my wife calls it), from time to time. I have a bunch of .410 and a few moon clips for .45 ACP, but i typically run .45LC with at least 1 reload handy.
