everyone says 'oh just get some surplus wood' until you can't find it retail anymore, so off to the forums we go.
looking for surplus/repro wood lower handguard and fixed stock for akm pattern guns. pistol grip and upper handguard optional, but if it's a complete set, i'll buy it. APS, i've heard, is good for reproduction, but i figured i'd cast a line out to see if i could something closer to what i want for less than $200.
ideally stock and handguard are relatively close finish wise.
