Just sharing another great finish and build that i just finished. And she joins the family haha. I went with almost black finish with extra time spent on Rust Bluing but it was worth it.

I'm specially proud of this one as I made sure everything about ok it it is perfect and in original configuration. Definitely looks like it was picked up during a war haha

Not my cup of tea, but you did a good job.
It definitely from now on is and I just did another test and now I can make it look like it was painted so now I have 4 options to finish it.. Glossy, Mate, Flat and I can match any color of the original finish so at least I can give my self a finish that way I want and it's awesome and free 😀
 
Not free. Your time is valuable because you are good at it. Think how much someone would charge you for what you did. That is roughly what it cost you, because that is what you could have made by charging someone. All the practice you did was investing in the skill.
