these are Russian century series push-button recoil rods intended for use with the GP-34 grenade launcher. These were made in the early 2000s and retrofitted onto surplus ak74s, as well as being standard on their modern Izhmash military and civilian rifles.
The Push button sticks out further than the usual lip on a typical 74 recoil spring and is designed to hold the dust cover in place when using the GP series of UBGLs. These are often missed when doing saiga conversions and are perfect for getting the proper look on a 100-series clone. These are all I have and they are really hard to come by stateside.
May have minor cosmetic wear from shipping but no serious use, as the springs are still a bit sticky with the grease from the factory
the last photos compare this spring to traditional recoil springs and show what they look like on a rifle.
I take USPS MO, PP G/S (NO words) and PP/FF (NO words)
