Gun Talk Kobra Mounting Issues

From your other pictures it looks like there may be tape or padding around where the optic mounts to the rail, that could be your issue. I could be way off, though

You have wear markings on the front end of your cobra on the bottom side. I think also on the bottom. All of my kobras don’t contact the dust cover at all when mounted. Unscrew the four top screws of your optic and see if the mount is bent at the top where it all screws in. Could attempt to place some shims on the side to assist with the lean. It almost looks like it Took an impact from a ribbed top cover from an Ak. IMO I think it’s bent and you either need to shim the optic with tape, or remove the optic portion, set it in a vice, and bend it back into place best you can. For the least amount of damage I’d say shim it and balance it out.

Also to add to your other post, yes it looks authentic given the brass coloring under where the paint has rubbed off from being mounted. The paint as well has that faint glitter when exposed to direct light, it’s also rough. The cuts all line up, from what I see it’s legit.
