Gun Talk Charter Arms AR-7 Survival Rifle (Plinker)

Details

Well this is a little unique, a Charter Arms AR-7 .22LR. Ever since I was a kid I have always wanted one of these little plinker rifles but thought they were rather hideous with the plastic butt stock that hides the barrel and the rest of the components. The Combloc connection is these were issued to B52 Bomber crews during the Cold War with the idea they could shoot small game. Sounds mildly crazy, highly unlikely a B52 crashes in Siberia without it being a catastrophe. Israel also issued cool versions to their pilots (those ones are expensive for a .22). This one popped up on Gunbroker and I could not resist. It has a couple of unique features, a barrel shroud and a collapsible stock.

Comments

Thanks. I tried to find the manufacturer and was unable to find a match. So it may be a custom stock,

Looks like AR-7.com used to sell something similar, but it looks like it is more of a typical collapsible stock rather than the threaded retention on this one. If its custom, that's even cooler!

Gun Talk Rail discussion
Can someone identify this rail? It appears to be Zenitco but looks a little different.
Looking to get some Zenitco to larp in my moms basement with my wife’s boyfriend, any idea on who’s a reliable seller at the moment?
Does anybody here know anything else about this thing other than what was translated from this German collecting book... It looks like you just...
