Gun Talk Cleaning ak74/ 100 series

Details

Do you guys have any helpful tips for breaking off all the hard carbon buildup that sets on the muzzle brake of the ak74 ? As well as all the buildup that happens on the flat side of the 24mm threads? Is there anything just eats away the hard carbon buildup ? Only thing I can see that works is breaking it off with a pick. Looking for something I can just spray on and use a wire brush to get off. Ideas ?

As unsightly as it tends to be as long as the crown is clean, you'll be ok, I tried a bunch of various methods.. including soaking my AK-103 for 2 days in slip2000's carbon killer.. it made a dent in the carbon.. but it wasn't worth the effort
