sorry for the confusion made the post off 2 hours of sleep. I have a collection of ammo that ive picked up over the years and im not sure if its worth selling or just sitting on it. Havent bought any in a few years so im just seeing where the market is at.Are you selling ammo or offering to help others price ammo they are selling? Sorry the "Ammo Prices" title and not being in the marketplace place confused me.
I only ask because I'm literally in the same boat. I have like 5000 rounds of various stuff I've collected over the years. I'm getting out of the AK game and looking to sell. I also have no idea where the market is at!sorry for the confusion made the post off 2 hours of sleep. my issue is i cant find anyone selling the tula 308 or RAS ammo recently :/if you wanna get a general idea of where ammo pricing is at per retail, check ammoseek dot com. keep in mind; generally, buyers will expect shipping to be included in your price, which is most likely gonna kill any kind of deal, on both ends.
best of luck!

You would have to look at them yourself and present an offer. "Crates" could have any number of anything. LolOlder gentleman who walks his dog around my complex and I started chatting today about shooting and AK's, told me has one but doesnt shoot it. Told me that he has a sealed 7.62x39 crate. I told him id buy it, and he said he would think about it. Do these crates have 2 spam cans? What should I offer him?
Depends on where it came from, the Yugo ones had one big can in it. Some of those have 1120 rounds on stripper clips and some have 1260(?) rounds in if remember right 15 round boxes. I think the Soviet pact countries varied I have seen them with 2 cans to a crate but different countries have different amounts in the cans. I know some were 700 rounds and some were 640 rounds.Older gentleman who walks his dog around my complex and I started chatting today about shooting and AK's, told me has one but doesnt shoot it. Ill try and see if he can get me a picture of the crate and ill go from there.Depends on where it came from, the Yugo ones had one big can in it. Yea, it would help to post the picture here so someone can decipher all the markings on it. Surplus crates have a lot of info on them if you know what is what. Quantity, type of ammo (ball, tracer, etc.) year it was made, etc.Ill try and see if he can get me a picture of the crate and ill go from there.
Don't think a gun show is a very good metric to use as a reference for prices. In general gun shows have not had reasonable prices since before sandy hook.Sunday gun show had wolf 5.45 $23.99 20rds then tela 7.62 $14.99 20rds.
