Up for sale are RPK top load drum magazine main "clock" springs - reproductions - 20$ each
Shipping charge is additional 15$ for up to four springs in one package.
Installation process:
Warning:
1. Springs comes wound up and full of tension. Sudden removal of the packing wire will cause rapid uncontrolled spring movement with danger of injury.
2. The dial has very sharp edges which can easily cause injury - handle with caution.
3. Use of safety glases and gloves is recommended.
1. Carefully remove the packing wire - cover or wrap the spring in a rag, hold it firmly or push against pad, cut the wire and the slowly release the pressure and let the spring unwind
2. Insert the hooked end in to the dial - under the rib and over the pin as show on the photo.
3. Pull the hooked end all the way up and push the slug-like sping center in to the dial compartment
4. Hook up the spring center to RPK cleaning kit tube or improvised tool made of steel tubing and wind it up until the hooked end snaps on dial pin.
