Norinco SKS model Cowboy's Companion, originally imported by Navy Arms. Numbers matching, letter series with prefix R. This rifle appears to be a vintage 1959/1960 production that was reconditioned into a scoped model for export.
Factory installed dovetail rail for Chinese scope mounts. Original Chinese scope mount with Polytech marked scope and unmarked Red Star scope installed. Wood stock is functional but kind of ugly. No bayonet groove or lug. Cleaning kit and rod included with rifle
